Bedford Resident Reports Repeated Coyote Sightings

A Bedford resident is warning others that he has spotted a coyote in the area of Succabone and Alice roads over the past four or five days.

The coyote has been spotted between the hours of 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., said Bedford Corners resident Bob Lang.

"The animal does not seem to be just passing thru the area and I think the residents should be made aware," he added.

The owner of small dogs, Lang was concerned after seeing the animal in his backyard a couple of times. He yells at the coyote who then travels down the Alice Road and into the woods.

He has reported the sightings to the Bedford police.
